BLOOD AND IRON

Blood and Iron, based in Chennai(India), was formed in early 2005, a collaboration of members from various bands, with varying degrees of heavy metal influences. The one thing we had in common was a will to play metal like no other band, by contributing different styles and personal influences to the sound, resulting in an original and uncompromised sound. The major influences amongst the band members range from the thunderous, guitar driven sounds of bands like Megadeth and Primal Fear, mixed with the unparalleled melodic structures of bands such as Iron Maiden, Queensryche and Children of Bodom, refined further by varying influences of Dream Theatre, Kreator, Hammerfall and other such metal gods. All these influences and ideas put together form the core sound of Blood and Iron. This overall idea can be derived by listening to this album.

In a time when most bands in Asia concentrate either on creating original music with the sole purpose of selling records by incorporating "popular" means or concentrate on live shows by playing a few originals along with mostly covers of bands they idolize, the exposure required to overcome the mainstream movement by creating and playing music without compromises and on the wings of belief, in Asia, is phenomenal.

Blood and Iron, being a premier metal band from Chennai has played numerous live shows across India, concentrating mainly on originals, as opposed to covering our favorite bands live. We have also won several competitions around the country.

We are dedicated to playing our music straight from the heart, and believe in the talent available in this band. We are also optimistic about our chances of being signed by a well-respected record label, to allow us to continue making our music, which we believe is unique.

HEY GUYS ITS THE NAME OF MY BAND....WELL WELL..AFTER A LONG JOURNEY I FORMED A BAND....HMMMM WEL I NEED TO INTRIDUCE MY BAND PEOPLES TOO ..THAT I NEED A SAPERATE FIELD FOR THEM...THIS NAME WAS KEPT BY MY BAND PEOPLES..HMMMM WE WORKED A LOT..COS ITS NOT A EASY DEALTO FORMING A BAND..U NEED A PERFECT CO-ORDNATION AN GOOD INTERATION WITH THEM..SO I GOT A BAND LIKE THAT...AND OUR MUSIC HISTORY'S WAS STARTED....

so this is my second perfomence in my college...The college music club day...actually we got a proud that we are the guys who started the inauguration of this club and the 1st time we review the club..so we got a plan of doing some interesting shows..at that time we started this CLUB DAY..usually it wil be coming in at the start of the month august..at that time we got ROCK SHOWS.LIGHT MUSIC,VARIETY,GROUP DANCE AN ALL FUN ACTIVITIES..SO AFTER THIS CLUB FUNCTION I GOT AN IDEA OF STARTING OF ANEW BAND..SO MY SECOND PERFOMENCE IS A LESSON AND A WAY TO START OF MY BAND...

About "CRESCENT MUSIC CLUB"..it was started last year...the club brings out the people who are interested in music but they don have the chance of showing their talent..so this club wil help them to persue the talent...and i was the one of the co-ordinator of this club..this club is not only for musician ..it is also for the people who are ready to learn the music...under this club peopls formed a BAND and won lots of prizes...on the way to that i came in to the BAND...so this is my first step to START UP THE BAND....and insisted me to join in the music field...
